Once a Golfer, Always a Golfer
At Westown Golf Club, we believe that golf is for everyone, no matter your ability or experience. Our ‘Once a Golfer, Always a Golfer’ programme is designed to provide an inclusive, supportive environment for golfers who may no longer be able to play a full round. If you can't manage 9-holes anymore, this programme allows you to enjoy 4 holes of golf on our beautiful course.
For just $2.00 per person, golfers can come together to play, socialise, and experience the joy of being out on the course. Every Thursday, we meet at 12:30 PM in the car park, with tee-off at 1:00 PM, followed by afternoon tea in our downstairs sprig bar. This initiative is especially wonderful for our elderly community members, including those in rest homes or living with dementia, providing them with a chance to enjoy a trip to the Golf Club and a relaxed round of golf.
We are proud to partner with Todd Energy and the team at Nova in supporting this programme, helping us ensure golf remains an inclusive activity for all abilities.
If you or your business would be interested in supporting or donating to this initiative, we encourage you to contact our office staff to discuss how you can get involved. Together, we can make golf a more accessible and enjoyable experience for our older generation and foster a sense of community.
To ensure availability of carts and reserve your spot, please contact the office to book your place in advance. Join us for a fun and friendly experience where, once a golfer, you’ll always be a golfer. We look forward to welcoming you!
