What‘s the Club Dress Code?
At Westown Golf Club, we want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome, whether you're a seasoned golfer or just starting out. To help create a relaxed and respectful atmosphere, we ask that you follow our dress code guidelines, both on the course and in the clubhouse. Our staff and club officials are always happy to assist and may gently remind you to adjust your attire if needed.
On The Course
Women:
- Trousers, skirts, or shorts
- Collared polo shirts or other recognised golf attire
Men:
- Casual or golf trousers
- Collared polo shirts
- Casual or dress golf shorts
- Recognised golf apparel
Footwear (For Men and Women):
- Soft-soled golf shoes should be worn at all times.
What We Ask You to Avoid on the Course:
- Beach or boxer shorts
- Singlets
- Clothing with offensive or inappropriate slogans or graphics
- Dress shoes with hard soles or heels
- Jandals (flip-flops)
- Boat shoes, athletic/running shoes with spikes
- Touch rugby shoes or boots with hard-moulded soles
In the Clubhouse
Please wear tidy, comfortable attire suitable for a relaxed clubhouse setting. To maintain the atmosphere, we ask that no hats or golf shoes be worn in the upstairs bar area. Our staff and club officials are here to ensure everyone feels at ease and appropriately dressed for the occasion.
